Besides Prof. Svistunov, the section moderators were Prof. Nancy Margarita Regatta (Airlangga University) and Dr. Adeeba Binti Kamarulzaman (University of Malaya). They focused on possible ways to overcome problems of medical universities, and international cooperation possibilities. During the meeting Prof. Svistunov pointed out top healthcare trends, and their impact on medical education. He emphasized that value-based health system should refer to three important principles: multidisciplinary, personalized and learning, and digital education.
Moreover, the experts exchanged views on diploma recognition outside the ASEAN region, as well as medical research funding problems. Prof. Svistunov noted that one of the main problem solving tools will be active cooperation outside the geographical region.
